Ready to throw your own Dinner Party? These are the games and expansions available so far.
The base game
The base set that started it all. Includes 112 Guest cards, Water, Wine, Envelope tokens, dice, and everything else you need to invite (in)famous people of history.
Convince characters like Marie Curie, Cleopatra or Gandhi to join your table, use their special abilities and treat them to drinks from the bar. Send Adolf (who came uninvited and insists his invitation “got lost in the mail”) to the table of an opponent to ruin their evening.
Make sure to keep your own guests entertained so other players won’t be able to charm them away from you. Only one can have the greatest party ever when the game ends and dinner is served!
Deluxe Edition
This Deluxe Edition (or rather: the Super Duper Hyper Mega Ultra Über Giga Limited Special Collector’s Deluxe Edition, shortened to SDHMUUGLSCDE) contains the base game Dinner Party as well as an exclusive, two-sided Lobby board, 8 cardboard bouquet standees, and a large 60 page Deluxe Booklet with a “Making Of” and info about all 202 characters that were available for Dinner Party at release; all in a nice slip case that can hold all of that content.
Expansion 1:
Hot & Steamy
This first expansion for Dinner Party contains 45 new Guest cards as well as Coffee, a new Drink. The base game is required to play.
Coffee can be claimed from the Bar for one Drink icon, like Water. It doesn’t go on Guests, but instead can be discarded to allow re-rolling any number of dice.
It’ll keep you up at night!
Guests in this expansion include Honoré de Balzac, Jane Austen, Niccolò Machiavelli, Malcolm X, the Elephant Man, Nefertiti and René Descartes.
Expansion 2:
Time To Get Served
This second expansion for Dinner Party contains 45 new Guest cards as well as a new mechanic, Point Tokens. The base game is required to play.
Point Tokens look like little plates, and can be claimed by many Guests from this set if their specific conditions are fulfilled. At scoring, each Point Token is worth 1 Point. Depending on the Guest, this can open new challenges, new risks, or new ways to victory.

Guests from this expansion include Sun Tsu, Queen Victoria, Hernán Cortés, Agatha Christie, Montezuma, Benito Mussolini and H.P. Lovecraft.
Mini-Expansion: Topics
This mini-expansion provides a great change of pace if you’ve played a lot of Dinner Party and want to shake things up. It includes 35 Topic cards*, which have Abilities that players can use when trying to invite a Guest, plus one rule card. The base game is required to play.
Talk about the Weather (no matter with whom, that topic always goes), discuss War Anecdotes with Winston Churchill or Science Trivia with Marie Curie, tell Brazen Lies, share your opinions on Poetry, Etiquette, and Crime, and practice Active Listening and Name Dropping. Every Topic throws the game for another loop.
* 3 of the Topics can only be used with the Hot & Steamy expansion (using Coffee), and 3 can only be used with the Time To Get Served expansion (using Point Tokens). The other 29 Topic cards can be used without any expansions.
Mini-Expansion: Salt
This mini-expansion for Dinner Party adds a little Salt standee and a platter (with rules on its back). The base game is required to play.
When you have a terrible turn where you get neither a Guest nor Drink, or when another player does something mean to you (stealing what’s yours or passing you-know-who to your table), you can now claim this consolation price.
Exclaim “Pass the Salt” and grab the shaker, even from another player. then discard it for an extra roll on one of your later turns.
No need to get salty!
